The Batam kids.as i type, brother is completing his daily routine of pushups, situps and commando training.
and sadly, not just being spared from physical torture, i heard the emotional aspect have been pushed a notch, a notch closer to hell, where curses and disparage remarks are spewed.

I hardly blog about my significant other/brother but somehow, after the call that was made earlier this evening, i felt disturbed.
Had a mere glimpse of him, his uniform and his shiny-shaven head yesterday. Exchanged a few sentences and he was already flaunting his newly attained abs.
I hope he sees the tough life as an inspiration and a drive towards body perfection.
It is said to be that Army brings out the man in you.
Is it really true?
Or does it break you emotionally and bring out the physical you; strong on the outside, broken on the inside.
Anyways,
this time of the year is very much anticipative, in the season of festive joy together with the overwhelming work to be done. What a good combination. School just don't stop functioning.
Camp was definitely a panacea to all frustrations and served as a break from the real world. A pilgrimage where i sought and found him, and embracing the one i trust and love. Received a word that was spoken over my life.
Cried like a baby with the many others who were touched over and over again. And this time, i'm sure its more than just emotions or the feel like crying atmosphere. its the heart, where serious commitments were made.
Praise God.
I shalln't go into every detail of the camp as i believe some would have already done that.
On a more back to earth update,
today was well liven.
got my cartilage pierced. Today somehow is just the mood for new piercings, both impromptu and thought over and over again decisions. Alena, aikey and joel had their different desired facial parts pierced as well. Should have seen the dramatic fear before the piercings.
We are all wusses.
lately,
been camwhoring with the double trouble peeps. Tons and tons of pictures which i shall upload in due time. (:
