Last night is what I would call, an addict night out. Think about it. Who plays LAN till 3plus in the morning followed by dim sum at geylang which by the way, opens for 24 hours. My new hangout yo. The life of a pre-enlistee or rather the life of a boy living in self-denial thinking there's no army. Having said that, i'm not here to blog about such. Oh wait, on a side note, Adam just told me he's been running 2.4km almost every day in prep for the big day and here I am, running 2.4 either on my bed or in the kitchen. He's working his beer belly while I'm growing mine.
Thing is, i'm born fit. Naturally fit. Just going to let army bring out that fitness in me.
On a serious chord of truth, I have plans for army. My own plans. I know when we say the term army, there's a strict regime and system to follow and this system is by the government themselves. But however, I have plans for the army, plans that would be graced by God himself. The plans will be revealed shortly. Can't wait.
Period.
They say that truth is the best indication against slander. So what’s the truth? Is he or she lying? Or am I about to become a villain all together again? Believe nothing. Just because a wise man said it, or you read it in a book, words of divine order, or because your mother told you, it doesn’t make it true. Believe only what you yourself can test and judge to be true. More often than not, deceit comes from your neighbour.
Falling in love is the easiest thing you’re ever gonna do. It’s the most exciting thing, the most powerful thing. That’s why falling out of love hurts like hell, but falling in love, there’s nothing better. It’s the best it ever gets. A lifetime of love. Now that’s a miracle. Relationships aren’t always easy. I should know.
We all want to be loved, to be happy. So why aren’t we? Maybe because we’ve become experts at sabotaging our own happiness. Feeling like victims, when in fact it’s the choices we make, the bad habits, the vices, the inability to show love and compassion. These are the things that tear us down. We’re not victims. We’re assassins when it comes to love and happiness. We applaud the sentiment, but we don’t change. Why? Because we want what we want. So we do it, we say it, we try it and we victimise ourselves. It’s a question of character. It’s really about who has better character.
When we truly love, this is when we truly live.
Jump at the opportunity or you might never ever know, what could have been.
